Midwest Miniature Guild
The Midwest Miniature Guild is a group of miniaturists who share information about dollhouse miniatures,
learn new techniques in workshops, shop for artisan miniatures
and dollhouse supplies, and make new friends.
Miniature Workshops and Projects
Club meetings of the Midwest Miniature Guild are held three times
a year in February, May and October. Guild members share
their expertise in flower making, dressing dolls, furniture building,
creation of accessories, and a host of other projects. In addition,
some larger projects have been undertaken, such as breakaway room
boxes, The Door for All Seasons, Guilderville, The Secret Garden,
Back Porches, and most recently A Place of Your Own.
Meetings include workshops; a browse table where members
may share materials of interest; clubs and individuals are
encouraged to display projects they have completed; the Guild
library with an extensive collection of miniature books, magazines
and videos that members may check out; a lunch where centerpieces
and table favors which are made by clubs and individual members
of the Guild are given away; a business meeting where members
are updated on Guild events; and door prizes are given away.
Sharing Miniatures
The Midwest Miniature Guild is a fine example of an association
of miniaturists whose primary purpose is to further the hobby.
Our primary goal is to share and learn about miniatures. Come
and join us!
